Jarret, a Physical Therapist is currently working at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehab in Great Barrington Massachusetts. This is his 3rd travel assignment with Cirrus Allied. Jarret is originally from New York but as a teenager moved to Connecticut. Growing up in Connecticut was fun but I’d often go back to visit with family in New York. Jarret has served in the Navy for 16 years. While on duty he also became a Physical Therapist- I’ve been traveling most of my life. I’ve been to New Jersey, Virginia, California, Italy, Germany and Hawaii. Now that I’m with Cirrus Allied I’ve decided to stay in Massachusetts so I can be close to my family.

We asked Jarret does traveling enable him to experience new/fun things- Absolutely. I like to move around a lot. I like to see different places but I especially like to see the differences in people we are close but yet have such a different outlook on things in life. I can drive 45 minutes outside of where I work and the people are completely different. I think it’s amazing how people view life. Some are really into sports and others are into religion and others are just there. I also like the night life. Usually the first night of my assignment I find a local spot and check out the night life; during the day I browse through stores and try new restaurants. I forgot there is one other thing I do; I collect Teddy Bears for my daughter. Every time I travel to a new city I have to get her a Teddy Bear with a logo of the city on it. She loves them.

We asked Jarret where he would like to visit next- For now I am good in Massachusetts but my dream place would be Hong Kong or Japan…..I’ll keep dreaming about that for now (smile). We asked Jarret what are his long term career goals- I definitely want to go back to school. I am trying to decide if I want to complete my MBA or DPT (Doctorate of Physical Therapy). I want to be a doctor but I also need to know how to run my own business so I’m contemplating which one.

We asked Jarret how he finds out about new assignments- My recruiter Monica keeps me updated. If I have a request, Monica gets it done and I never have to follow up with her. She takes care of everything before it may become an issue. I have been approached by many travel companies but Monica is the reason why I will continue to work with Cirrus.
