Travel OTs, travel PTs, and travel SLPs can go hiking through Big Bend National Park, which is home to 400 species of birds and over 1100 species of plants.  You can visit The Alamo and learn about the heroic struggle which took place here in 1836.  Texas travel therapists also enjoy visiting the Johnson Space Center located in Houston.  Incidentally, Houston is the largest city in Texas and features many sports teams such as the Cowboys, the Texans and the Astros as well as some of the best restaurants in the country.
            
If the Houston, TX sounds too big, travel therapists can head over to the second largest city in Texas, San Antonio. San Antonio is home to many great places to visit in groups or as a family. Six flags theme park and Seaworld are both located here. There is also the San Antonio River Walk which is lined by bars, shops, and great food.
