Cirrus Allied Earns Elite Joint Commission Certification for the second time
Cirrus Allied Maintains Elite Joint Commission Certification
NORCROSS, GA - Cirrus Allied, one of the leading national providers of allied healthcare professionals, has maintained the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care staffing services. On December 13, 2008, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) certified that Cirrus Allied continues to meet their standards of quality and safety for healthcare staffing organizations. These national standards address how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff and how they then monitor staff's performance.
"Health care organizations that contract with Cirrus Allied can look to this certification as an assurance that Cirrus Allied demonstrates a commitment to providing and continuously improving quality services," says Michele Sacco, executive director, Health Care Staffing Services Certification, Joint Commission.
The Joint Commission's Healthcare Staffing Certification Program was launched in 2004 as an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm's abilities to provide competent staffing services. Due to the ongoing shortages of allied healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations are finding it increasingly difficult to find quality staff. This certification enables the facilities to quickly recognize quality-focused staffing organizations capable of meeting their needs. "This certification recognizes our dedication to providing rehab therapists and imaging technologists that are qualified to provide safe, high-quality care to patients and enable our client to expect successful patient outcomes," says Candace Berk, President of Cirrus Allied.
